Prices exclude GST. All charges, package prices, discounts, and planner estimates displayed on this website are before GST. Applicable GST will be added to the final invoice at the rate required under Government of India policy at the time of billing.
1. Services and quotes
Newtown Podcast Studio provides studio hire, audio recording, video production, editing, and related creative services. Website packages are starting points. The final scope, schedule, deliverables, price, and payment requirements are those confirmed in writing for your project.
The online requirement planner produces an indicative estimate only. Sending an enquiry by WhatsApp, phone, email, or the website does not reserve a time slot or create a confirmed booking.
2. Prices, discounts, and GST
- All website prices and charges are quoted in Indian rupees unless stated otherwise.
- Displayed prices and estimates are exclusive of GST.
- Applicable GST is added to the taxable amount on the final invoice according to Government of India policy.
- Discounts apply only when their stated eligibility and payment conditions are met. Discounts do not stack unless expressly confirmed in writing.
- Studio & Mic Only is excluded from extended-session discounts, and the Full Day price remains fixed, unless a written quote states otherwise.
- Additional time, revisions, travel, rentals, crew, sets, props, or other work outside the confirmed scope may be charged separately after approval.
3. Booking confirmation and payment
A booking becomes confirmed only after Newtown Podcast Studio sends written confirmation and any stated advance or payment requirement has been satisfied. Availability may change until confirmation.
Payment milestones, due dates, and accepted payment methods may vary by project and will be stated in the quote, invoice, or booking confirmation. Monthly Creator Plan discounts depend on the stated minimum sessions and advance or prepayment option.
4. Studio sessions
- Please arrive on time and allow enough time for setup, briefing, and recording within the booked period.
- Late arrival does not automatically extend the booked end time. Extra time is subject to studio availability and additional charges.
- Clients and guests must follow reasonable safety, building, and equipment instructions.
- Parking at Astra Tower is chargeable and subject to Astra Tower's current parking policy. Any parking fee is separate from the studio booking price and is payable as required by building management.
- Smoking, unlawful activity, harassment, intentional damage, and unsafe conduct are not permitted.
- The studio may use comparable replacement equipment or adjust the setup when reasonably necessary for safety, availability, or production quality.
5. Deliverables, review, and storage
The confirmed quote will describe the recordings, edits, formats, and revisions included. Work requested outside that scope may require a revised quote.
Delivery dates are good-faith targets unless expressly guaranteed in writing. They may depend on timely feedback, approvals, payments, and materials from the client. Clients should download and securely back up delivered files. Any studio retention period for project files will be communicated separately and should not be treated as permanent storage.
6. Client content and intellectual property
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights, releases, licences, and permissions needed for all scripts, music, logos, footage, artwork, guests, statements, and other material supplied or recorded for your project. Content must comply with applicable law and must not infringe another person’s rights.
Subject to full payment, rights in commissioned final deliverables will follow the written quote or project agreement. Newtown Podcast Studio retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, templates, workflows, and know-how. The studio will not publicly use client recordings for promotion without permission.
7. Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds
Cancellation and rescheduling conditions in a written quote or booking confirmation apply to that booking. If no project-specific condition has been stated, the principles in our Cancellation & Refund Policy apply.
8. Production responsibility and events beyond control
The studio takes reasonable care with equipment, recordings, and files, but production can be affected by equipment failure, power or network interruption, building restrictions, illness, transport disruption, or other events outside reasonable control. Where possible, the studio may offer a replacement date, comparable solution, or appropriate refund for services not supplied.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law. Neither party is responsible for indirect or consequential loss to the extent permitted by law.
9. Website and third-party services
Website information may be updated, corrected, or withdrawn. External services such as WhatsApp, Google Maps, payment providers, and Wix operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer rights and dispute-resolution requirements, disputes will be handled by competent courts in Kolkata, West Bengal. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
