Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Newtown Podcast Studio may receive, why it is used, and the choices available to website visitors and customers.
Effective date: 12 August 2026
1. Information we may receive
- Contact information such as your name, phone number, email address, and business or show name when you contact us.
- Project information such as preferred setup, number of guests, schedule, production requirements, notes, and delivery preferences.
- Booking, invoice, and payment-status information needed to arrange and account for services. Full card or bank credentials are handled by the relevant payment provider, not this website.
- Communications sent through phone, email, or WhatsApp.
- Basic technical information that Wix or other site services may process, such as device, browser, IP address, page visits, and security logs.
2. How information is used
- To answer enquiries, check availability, prepare quotes, confirm bookings, and deliver services.
- To communicate about schedules, payments, recordings, edits, approvals, and support.
- To maintain financial, tax, operational, and legal records.
- To protect the website, studio, customers, and equipment from misuse or security risks.
- To improve services and website experience using aggregated or limited operational information.
3. Requirement planner and WhatsApp
Your planner choices are prepared in your browser. They are sent to Newtown Podcast Studio only when you choose to open and send the generated WhatsApp message. WhatsApp then processes that communication under its own privacy policy. You may edit or cancel the message before sending it.
4. When information may be shared
Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with hosting, communication, payment, accounting, production, or delivery providers; professional advisers; authorities where required by law; or another party involved in a business transfer. The website is hosted using Wix services, and external links may open WhatsApp, Google Maps, or other third-party services.
Newtown Podcast Studio does not sell personal information.
5. Retention and security
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for enquiries, bookings, production, customer support, accounting, tax, legal, and dispute purposes. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no online or electronic storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Project media and delivered files are handled separately from general contact information. Clients should keep their own secure backups and should not assume indefinite studio storage.
6. Cookies and site technologies
Wix and essential service providers may use cookies or similar technologies for hosting, security, session management, performance, and basic functionality. Browser settings can be used to control cookies, although blocking essential technologies may affect site operation.
7. Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information held by Newtown Podcast Studio, subject to information that must be retained for legal, tax, accounting, security, or dispute purposes. You may also ask us to stop non-essential promotional communication.
8. Children
This website and the studio’s general services are not directed to children acting independently. A parent, guardian, or authorised adult should arrange participation by a minor and provide any required consent.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when services, legal requirements, or site technology change. The revised version and effective date will be posted here.
